Stateline Hawks Announce they will not play in '08

Stateline Hawks President Todd O. Dillinder announced today that the Hawks will not participate in the 2008 WSFL Season. "The City of South Beloit has decided to not allow the Stateline Hawks to use City Park for 2008. With the lack of community support for 08, the Stateline Hawks will not participate as a team in any league."

The Stateline Hawks finished their WSFL regular season with a South Division leading 8-2 record. They went on to lose the semifinal playoff game to the Junkyard Dogs.

"As for the future of the Hawks. We shall see after 2008. We are taking 2008 off. Other opportunities have been offered and we will be sitting on them for now." said Dillinder.

Oh well the it does not say much for the city of south Beloit they did nothing to keep the field nice nor the facilities clean during the season and as far as the owner of the Hawks if he would have stood up for the Hawks concerning the officials it would have been different and the league should be ashamed i bet the officials were there for the other teams my guess is the x hawks players will be just fine too much talent for other teams not to capitalize good ridness SB and good ridness Hawks owner

Hawks were not given a fair game and as usual instead of fixing the problem you tear apart the defenders SB team and park was the most alive to go play felt like a rel competition looks like prejudice played a part in it to me Boo to Sb wimpy City try knowing the situation before you pull the plug perhaps thats why your losers when you had a winner you showed your sleves to be cowards

lets be clear ya'll junkyard dogs great team but common now who lets the game be officiated by one teams rival (gladiators hate statelinehawks) where did the wsfl officials go hmmm could not make this important game right the fans had a right just as the team and the coaches to be angry and if the owner had a backbone he would have too instead of berating the coach for taking a stand and funny how quickly sb took back there park i guess ill keep mycash in my pocket when going thur Sb

"... if he would have stood up for the Hawks concerning the officials it would have been different ..."

certainly the winning team would not have been different, the Hawks were beaten that night and it was not as close as the score indicates.
But Ive already published m6y final thoughts on that:

the Hawks were not beat fair if you have to play the so called fake officials and the team thats bull the Hawks can take a loss the fake officials didn't even know the league rules typical make excuses if you were there and were honest that was more bull floating around then on a manure farm more power to the dogs if the game owuld have been won by them with LEAGUE offficials its crap i wonder if you'd be so upstanding had it been the dogs had rival players refeeing the games well you know what they say an injustice to one is an injustice to every one call it what obviously it was a set up its a little dark sayyyyyyyy ahhhhhh the HAWKS way

i guess cause you say its so well here my final thought if it had been a more liked group a bit lighter group of players money says those league officials would have been there and so be it whoever won would have won im glad hawks are done cause its a bogus league anyway a real league would have followed the rules and had true officials funny how no one can say why they weren't there mighty lucky thre talented players on the hawk will find a team and a new league i would dare to say a real league so seeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Who cares the best team won anyway even though a back door route was taken Good Luck Hawks i hope you find a good home and at least get treated fairly you were far too great of a team to be done like that in the playoffs its a blemish people will always come away knowing it was not done the right way but hey the true winner was crowned so move on and good luck society has not changed the you were a small town team and i seems had too many players of color it always comes back to tht shamefully too many eyes were on the fox valley game so not quite the dame thing could be pulled i will not follow this league any more i m not down with unfairness

as for your comment it was not as close as the score indicate your right the fake referees finaaly half way started calling the game fair cause the fans were getting upset over darn right cheating and biased had that game been callked fairly from the start hawks win but soothe yourself and take that hollow based victory and run with it even the some of the junkyard dogs had integrity enough to admit how lousy the game was called it doesnt feel good when people to cheat to help you win yeah so buddy the score would have been different first with league refs and second if there would have been about 2 more minutes what a bunch of phony haters you sound like you were part of the ref squad enjoy your victory its tained and hollow
